Caroline Reitzes is the proud choral director at Webb Bridge Middle School in Alpharetta, GA. Mrs. Reitzes received a B.A. in Music from Haverford College and an Ed.M. in Learning and Teaching from Harvard University. Before coming to Webb Bridge, Mrs. Reitzes taught chorus at Haynes Bridge Middle School and served on the music staff of the Atlanta Young Singers, a community children’s choir. Mrs. Reitzes completed all levels of Kodály training at George Mason University and received her certification in Kodály Teacher Pedagogy in 2015. In addition, she completed level one of both Henry Leck's Creating Artistry Conducting Institute and the Choral Music Experience Institute. Mrs. Reitzes is a member of the VoiceCare Network, having completed the BodyMind and Voice training course in 2018 and Continuing Conducting course in 2019. Mrs. Reitzes is a past president of the Kodály Educators of Georgia and presented “Cracking the Code with Kodály: Applications of Kodály in Choral Rehearsals” at the 2020 GMEA In-Service Conference. She lives in Marietta, GA with her husband, Mike, and son, Max.
Accompanist
Amy Kennedy is the Music Assistant and Accompanist at Ridgeview Charter School and Webb Bridge Middle School. She plays for several Atlanta area Middle and High schools, providing accompaniment for choral performances and musical theater productions. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Purdue University. She lives in Johns Creek, Georgia with her husband, Brian and her son, Colin. Amy's oldest son, Brendan, is a student at Georgia Southern University. Go Eagles!
